Mammography Screenings
Mammography is a specific type of imaging that uses a low-dose x-ray system to examine breasts. A mammography exam, called a mammogram, is used to aid in the diagnosis of breast diseases in women.

Cardiac Screenings*
Your beating heart can be viewed without surgery or other invasive cardiac procedures with the help of our 64 Slice CT Scan.
Coronary Artery Screening*
A Coronary Artery Screening can detect harmful plaque on your arteries before the risk of a heart attack or stroke.
Cardiac Scoring*
Cardiac Scoring can detect the presence of Coronary Artery Calcifications to determine if you have Coronary Artery Disease.

Aneurysm Screening
An Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening can detect the presence of an aneurysm in your aorta. 80% of ruptured Aortic Aneurysms are fatal.

Lung Cancer Screening*
A CT Scan is taken of the lungs to detect possible abnormalities missed on the average chest xray. If you are a tobacco smoker, had exposure to Asbestos, or have a family history of Lung Cancer, this screening may be recommended.

Virtual Colonoscopy*
Our 64 Slice CT Scan and computer diagnostics produces two and three dimensional precise images of the colon that can be viewed on a video screen.

Exam Preparation Instructions
- Please remember to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time
- Wear comfortable clothing, (some exams may require 2 piece garments)
- Avoid wearing jewelry
- Bring anything in writing from the Referring Physician, Attorney's paperwork.
- Bring License and Insurance Cards
- All consent forms will need to be signed prior to the exam and medical history will be reviewed
- Bring any comparison films you may have, unless they are previous with Russo
- Payment is expected at the time of service/exam
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening
- Nothing to eat or drink 6-8 hours before the procedure
Virtual Colonoscopy Prep
Please read all instructions carefully:
Obtain 2 bottles of Citrate of Magnesia at any pharmacy. This is available over the counter without a prescription.
One Day before the Exam:
You may have a clear liquid breakfast.
- Clear liquids consist of water, tea, coffee (no milk), and strained fruit juice.
Do not eat solid food throughout the day, between 11am and 1pm, have a clear liquid lunch.
- This includes broth, jell-o or popsicles in addition to the liquids mentioned above.
Between 2pm and 5pm, drink the first bottle of Citrate of Magnesia . This is to be followed by drinking an additional 3 or 4 glasses of plain water. Five hours after drinking the first Citrate of Magnesia (between 7pm and 10pm), drink the second bottle of Citrate of Magnesia . The solution will cause you to have repeated loose stools (diarrhea) which is the expected result. It typically works within 30 minutes but may take as long as 3 hours to have an effect.
During the remainder of the evening, you may drink clear liquids if desired but do not eat solid foods until the procedure is complete the following day. Do not exceed the recommended Citrate of Magnesia dosage as serious side effects may occur.
The morning of the procedure:
Take regular medications with water, unless otherwise instructed by your physician. If you have an afternoon procedure, you may have clear liquids until 10am.
If you are a diabetic, take ½ your usual dosage of insulin on the morning of the procedure. If you take a “Diabetes Pill”, you may skip it the morning of the procedure, unless otherwise instructed. If you have any other questions regarding your medications please call your primary care physician.
Patients should arrive 1 hour before their scheduled appointment.
